Get Cheese - Where to Find Great Cheese! Report by Pia Proal
Much to our surprise
many of our local restaurants feature cheese plates both as a dessert,
as well as an accompaniment to the meal. With more diverse cheese
selections available, you can find a wide selection in your local
market or at specialty stores such as Formaggio's
Kitchen. This little store is filled with some of the finest artisanal
cheeses around.
More and more restaurants now offer selections of fresh American and European cheeses. You can find familiar varieties, such as goat cheese, Munster, or triple-cream Bries, as well as more exotic cheeses such as Manchego, Dry Jack, and Cabrales on their menu items. If you need to brush up on the varieties that are available or that might suit your palate, you can find descriptions of most of the cheeses at www.cheese.com.
